Oven Baked Peaches
Peaches are in season now so be sure to get them ripe!
This is the mixture of cake mix, brown sugar, rolled oats, butter, ground cinnamon, allspice, and vanilla extract.
Ingredients
3 ripe peaches
2 tbsp rolled oats
2 tbsp vanilla flavored vegan box cake mix
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp butter, cut into pieces
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
1/4 tsp ground allspice
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Additional toppings: Dairy free ice cream and caramel
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F
2. Cut the peaches into halves and remove the pits
3. In a small/medium bowl, add the cake mix, rolled oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, allspice, vanilla extract and butter. Use a fork to smash the butter and mix with the other ingredients. Example shown in picture above.
4. Put the peaches (face up) onto a baking sheet.
5. Place a scoop of the crumble mixture into the center of each peach.
6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crumb topping is golden brown.
7. Optional: Add a small scoop of dairy free vanilla ice cream to the tops of each peach along with a drizzle of caramel.
